Fun and Easy Paper Clip Toppers

It’s summer!  Are your kids bored yet?  If so,

they can use chipboard pieces in different shapes to make cute toppers for paper clips.

Here’s what you do:

1)  cover the chipboard pieces in decorative paper  (make matching pairs)

2)  file the edges

3)  glue a paper clip to the backside of one chipboard piece

4)  glue the matching chipboard piece to the top of the paperclip so that the paper clip is sandwiched in-between the two chipboard pieces

5)  allow time to dry

You can use any size chipboard and any size paper clip.  I made a bunch of large and small paper clip toppers, put them in cellos bags, tied the bags with cute ribbon, and gave them as little gifts.

This is a great little item that the kids can sell at their lemonade stand!
