Cousins in the Kitchen

Family members have been gathering in this kitchen for over 100 years. My great-grandfather built the house when he came over from Italy. He raised his family there, and then my maternal grandparents raised their family in it. My mom was born in this very kitchen. My kids mark the fifth generation of Scarpas who can call this house a home.

Erica, Adrienne, Monica and Andrea (3rd Cousins)

Monica and Andrea are my cousin Patty’s daughters

Curliest, Curlier, Curly, and Cutey-Pie

Erica and Adrienne with their 3rd cousins Jessica and Gabrielle. Jessica and Gabrielle are my cousin Sheree’s daughters.

Aunt Rosie with my mom and their first cousins Cookie and Joe.

  1. "Nini"

Loved the girls pictures but just wanted to add that if you and Patty are first cousins then your children would be second cousins, or would they? Somewhat confused..
First, second or third it is great that they know each other!

Now I know who you are! It took me about five minutes to figure out who had the nickname “Nini!”

Chris is my 1st cousin, so he is my kids’ 2nd cousin. Justin is my 2nd cousin, so he is my kids’ 3rd cousin.

Start a blog…you and the boys can document your adventures together! They would LOVE it! Plus, they will learn computer skills which will be a huge part of their schooling in the near future (I predict.)
