Erica needs some suggestions for some great books to read, besides the obvious Harry Potter, Twilight series, and Newberry Award books.
What else is there? I hate to admit it, but I think after Twilight it is going to be pretty difficult to find something! (For adults, too!)

The Lightning Thief series by Rick Riordan is pretty good, too.
And books by Shannon Hale (especially The Goose Girl).

And also her book, The Thief Lord.

Amen to the Shannon Hale books…they’re a must! And I’ve heard the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot are pretty good too. Good luck!
