I saw these photos posted online and boy, did they bring back MEMORIES!!!! During my modeling heyday I crashed and burned a couple of times!!!!
One time my heel got caught in between the the runway boards and I completely walked out of my shoe. So there I was with one shoe on and one stuck in the runway. I already had to be cautious because the outfit I was wearing was kinda crazy…no bra and way open down the front, so I had to walk strategically to keep everything where it belonged, if you catch my drift.
Luckily, this show had a commentator, so she said, “OOps! Let’s just give her a minute to step back into her shoe!” Phewww!
Another time it was the show’s finale. At the end we would snake the runway, like these gals are doing.
I had long pants on and who knows what happened…all I know is that I was FLAT on the runway!!! It was a total fall!!! I guess some of the other models helped me to my feet…all I remember was my friend Patti driving through the McDonald’s drive-thru on the way home and them giving me some ice in a Ronald McDonald plastic puppet. I had a HUGE bruise on my knee.
So when I see these photos I completely crack up with laughter because I have certainly BEEN THERE and DONE THAT!!!
So, if you find these on sale anywhere (notice I said “on” sale and not “for” sale…there is a difference!!!) please let me know a.s.a.p. I NEED them!!!
