I’m Trying, I Promise!!!

I have some lovely photos of Lauren Graham from her final performance as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, but my computer is freaking out. I promise, they are coming soon!

In the meantime, I will tell you that she is absolutely adorable in person! She has a fab voice! I just wanted to run up on the stage and give her a huge hug!!!

She was very grateful and humble when she greeted her fans after the show. The same goes for Oliver Platt, who played Nathan Detroit.

Necessity Is the Mother of Invention

Over the next several days I will be posting different pictures of items I created for a tropical summer pool party. I wasn’t really happy with how everything was turning out because the ribbon I was using was making my creations look a bit stale. I decided to fray some of my grosgrain ribbon and by so doing, I created a perfect tropical look!

This technique is so easy! Just grab the end of a loose piece of one of the ribbon’s threads and carefully pull the thread away from you. The ribbon will unravel. Check back tomorrow to see what this fun cup turns into!!! You won’t believe it!!
