Sunbeam Class Mother’s Day Project

My little Sunbeams made this cute little flower pot arrangement for their moms for Mother’s Day. Pretty good for three-year-olds! It actually looks more complicated than it is. The flowers are punch-outs from a book I found on clearance (of course) at Target. After they put the pieces together, we taped them to popsicle sticks and stuck the sticks into little slits that I pre-cut in the bottom of Chinese take-out boxes. We had a blast making them! Like Emily said, “My mommy will love this ever and ever!!” (A special thanks to Emmaleigh L. who helped me!)

I Swear I Just Gave Birth to Her Yesterday…

…and today she was elected to be the sophomore class president for Dreyfoos School of the Arts! This cannot be happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I blinked, and here we are. She’s driving and she’s going into 10th grade. (Not to mention that Erica reminded me the other day that she will officially be a teenager in six months.)

Adrienne and her friend Meagan ran together as co-presidents. It should be a great experience for them! Hooray!! (P.S. Their new names are Rory and Paris! All you “Gilmore Girls” fans know what I’m talking about!)
