I haven’t read for enjoyment in a really long time…until I followed this link on Meghan’s blog. I started reading this girl’s fabulously-written postings about her heartbreaking divorce and before I knew it, three hours had passed!
The blog-o-sphere is full of happy families and their stories. When you read Alyssa’s story, you come to realize that sometimes things don’t work out the way we hope. I think her story should be a mandatory read for all young women.
I don’t know her personally. She is a friend of Meghan’s sister-in-law. She is now an attorney in NYC. Fascinating journey. Her story is listed in chronological order on her sidebar. So click here and get ready for a ride.
thank you for the kind words and shout out. I’ve been writing the story for me but it means a lot to discover that others are interested in reading it. Thanks again!
I feel badly that I describe reading your story as “enjoyment” reading. What I meant to say was that I haven’t had the opportunity of “getting lost” in a good book in a really long time. I became so absorbed in your story. You are an excellent writer.
Hey Charlene! I just finished reading her divorce story and I totally agree…it’s so heartbreaking! It’s also good to see it from a different perspective.
