I found a TON of little bags of gingerbread house decorating candies on clearance for eighteen cents a bag last week!  Eighteen cents?  Okay, I know they are leftover from Christmas, GROSS, but how spoiled can a tiny ball of sugar actually get, right?  They came in all shapes and sizes.  I used some hearts in the Valentine’s Day bouquet project HERE. (Look closely at the small flowers in the front…see the tiny hearts in there?  Eighteen cents a bag!  Yippee!  All I had to do was eat the colors that weren’t read, white or pink.)

When I saw these little balls, I thought to myself that they looked just like tiny gumballs.  Don’t you agree?

I can’t take any credit at all for the template.  All I did was trace the cup holder that I used on the cup of burning hot chocolate I bought last week.  It was so cold down here in sunny south Florida that there was ice on my windshield.  In the twenty-seven years I have lived here, that has never happened.  Yowzie!

You know the moment when you’re out shopping and you find something really cool and you say to yourself, “I can make something out of this!  I just need to think about it for a minute.”

A couples of weeks ago I found this cute little frame for $1.00.

As soon as I picked it up I said, “Hmmm….what can I make out of this?”  I removed the glass so that I could create a shadow-box effect by adding some depth to the embellishments.  (I used pop-up glue dots.  I think they work best with chipboard.  They are really sticky.)
