Glad I Said Yes

Neil and I had the chance to attend the Cystic Fibrosis ball at The Breakers Hotel on Saturday night.  Uncle Johnny and Aunt Jana were being recognized for their charitable work on behalf of the organization.

As the party was winding down, my uncle whispered this into my ear:

“Hey Char, wanna go to a private party at Mar-a-Lago, as a guest of Donald Trump, and sit at his table?”

Ahhh…..yes?

I grabbed Neil and off we went.  I sat right next to Donald and Melania.  Take a look at what happened next:

I ended up on stage with David Foster

Mormon Housewives

      Comments Off on Mormon Housewives

There have been a lot of news stories of late dissing Mormon housewives…just the typical stereotype.  Ya know.

As soon as I get a chance, I’ll post some pictures of my last two weekend’s shenanigans.  It will blow the stereotype out of the water.

Stay tuned.

Let me just preface it by saying this…for someone who never leaves the house, when I actually do wander, I do it in a really big way.

I am hard on my computers.  I fried my second laptop in two years.  I’m on Erica’s now, typing a post to let you know about our cool weekend.

We attended the Palm Beach Police Foundation’s annual ball at Mar-a-Lago again this year, thanks to the graciousness of Uncle Johnny/Aunt Jana.

It was a great way to celebrate my birthday.  Two days late, but so what?  I’ll postpone my birthday dinner by two nights to celebrate it at such a wonderful event.

I’ll upload photos as soon as I get my computer back.

We’re going to another ball this weekend at The Breakers Hotel.  Uncle Johnny/Aunt Jana will be honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

This weekend we’ll use the opportunity to celebrate Neil’s birthday one night early at the ball.

Can’t beat that, right?

I have been getting a lot of odds and ends done since my computer time has pretty much been eliminated.  That’s a good thing, and a bad thing.

eWillow.com is now open to ANY crafter to open a storefront to sell their handmade items.  Now it will be in direct competition with Etsy; although in my opinion, eWillow.com is much better because it is completely FREE for crafters to use.  There are no listing fees or transaction fees.  So theoretically, once word of eWillow.com spreads, Etsy might take notice.

Hey, competition is what makes the world go round.  So do college educations.  So do creating ways to pay for them.  And thus eWillow.com was born.

Santa brought me the one and only thing that I asked for.  It will certainly raise my blood pressure and unfreeze my frozen shoulder.

However, the best gift I received was this.  My little G-man fell asleep on me.  Our hearts were beating as one.

Look at those perfect little hands and fingers.
